June 12, 2003 - I said on my discussion board that I would have the Leah, Todd and Jason pictures up before Todd turns 3, and by golly, I did it. Todd's birthday is tomorrow.
Since the site is in the middle of a total renovation, I am not positive the current links will take you where you need to go, so I'm giving y'all a direct link to the Leah, Todd and Jason section. You can find it at www.rickhome.com/p-pages/ltj1/ltjindex.html
March 15, 2003 - My priorities have changed over the past week or so, thus I'll have to put the big website redesign on hold for the time being. I already had the new History section done, but I was waiting to get everything else updated first so I could launch it all at once. Instead, I'm launching it by itself. It should give you some idea of the direction I was planning on taking things.
Since I keep promising to get the Leah, Todd & Jason pictures up, I'll try to sneak in a Picture Page update sometime relatively soon. It will be in the old format.
March 2, 2003 - It was five years ago today that I launched this website. This announcement was supposed to be accompanied by a major redesign of the site that I had been planning to put up on the 5th anniversary. Well, time got away from me. I'll continue to work diligently on it and upgrade the site soon. Really. I can tell you that the Leah, Todd and Jason pictures will be a part of that upgrade.
August 26, 2002 - The Redbrook 2002 Pictures are up. Next up is the Leah, Todd and Jason installment.
I'm told that there are some broken links on my site. I'll be giving the site a thorough look-over pretty soon, but, in the meantime, if you catch any and let me know where they are, I'd be much obliged.
August 20, 2002 - I'm starting to re-organize the files on my server. This means that if you've bookmarked specific sections of this site (such as Picture Pages), you'll need to update your bookmarks. Right now, I've only relocated the History section, the Picture Pages section, and the Bio section. Hopefully, I have all the necessary links updated, but I'm sure I've missed some here and there. All the links on this page should be good to go.
I plan on having new picture sets up on Picture Pages really soon. I may go out of order and post the Redbrook pictures first, since I promised I'd post them. I had to get the reorganization done first, though. The pictures were really slowing up my access to the site FTP.
February 12, 2002 - I added a song re-write about the renovations on my old house to the Time to Rhyme section. It helps if you know the words to "Russians" by Sting.
December 25, 2001 - Here I am! I figured I'd stop by since it had been a while. To make up for the long absence, I brought along some more pictures, covering the 5 months I've been away.
July 14, 2001 - I've updated the Picture Pages. 18 new pictures of Leah and Todd!
June 28, 2001 - As you can see, I've moved the site to a new address. I figure that it's an easier address to remember. It also has about 50 times the webspace as the @Home account. Since I didn't have room to post the upcoming new batch of Leah and Todd pictures, I figured this was a good time to make the switch.
June 12, 2001 - I've updated the May History, having just watched episode 5 of Ken Burns' Baseball. This is one of the reasons why I put all 12 History Pages up - so I can make an update to a given month and not have to wait 11 months for anyone to see it.
June 3, 2001 - I have made a major update to the History Page. Now I have links to all 12 History Pages, which I will update whenever I come up with anything new. For the moment, only the June History has new updates. I also added a poem to the Poems page. It's to the tune of a song that I'm not sure too many of you know, but I think it works even without the tune. I recently took some more pictures of Leah and Todd, but I'll probably wait until I've gotten pictures of Todd's birthday (June 13, but the celebration will have to be later that week) before I post them.
May 6, 2001 - You know, I could have sworn I updated the Home Page when I posted the April History, but it would seem I was wrong. Well, this month I'm notifying you of the History Page update. If all goes as planned, next month will the last time I do a major History Page update, as I intend to keep all 12 pages on the site year-round as soon as I get it all organized. I figure I'll time it to coincide with the June History post in about a month.
In other news, I took a bunch of pictures of Leah and Todd last weekend, and the best ones are now available for viewing in the Picture Pages section.
March 9, 2001 - I fixed the Original Home Page so that all of the pictures load. Guess I'm still learning.
March 4, 2001 - The March History is up. In observance of the third anniversary of this website, I have also posted the Home Page as it appeared on March 2, 1998. It can be found in the Stuff That Defies Categorization. It really does show how much I've learned about web building in the past 3 years.
February 18, 2001 - Another batch of Leah and Todd pictures have been posted on the Picture Pages. It's a big'un - 21 pictures. I've also added a poem on the Time to Rhyme page. I'll take the Ravens logo off when I post the March History. Promise.
I'm three days away from 30. I'm getting old. Of course, I said the same thing when I was 16, so what do I know.
February 10, 2001 - I forgot to update the Home Page along with the History Page again. At least I didn't go the whole month this time. Anyway, as you probably know, the Ravens won the Superbowl, ergo the background. It's still kinda surreal for me that they actually won the whole thing. I've never lived in a town that has won a major sports championship. I moved to Baltimore while the Orioles were still defending World Series champs, but I was still in Kentucky when they actually won. The Wildcats won the NCAA basketball championship in 1978, but I was too young to notice. So this is the first time this sort of thing has happened to me. All the major buildings and monuments in the Baltimore area were bathed in purple light the two weeks between the AFC Championship and the Superbowl (and may still be, for all I know). It was really cool.
January 1, 2001 - Now it's the new millenium and the 21st century. I've been waiting a year to say that, and now we can move on. I've posted the January History, but I'm probably going to add a few updates later once I get a copy of the 2001 World Almanac. Hope everyone had a good New Year's. I've had worse. Now that I think about it, I haven't had much better, either. Doesn't beat New Year's '96, though.
